Tech path: Sadly I don't have the exact path I took but this is the gist. Plus it meant that if I lost a person or two the first storm it wasn't as big of a hit. Extra engineers meant more workshops running, with switching into medical posts if required. I escorted them back ASAP to get extra workers and resources coming in. I'm not sure if it was luck based or not, but my scouts found some people before the first storm. Whenever you finish a tech, pause, take the time to calculate out how much research time you have until the next temp drop, what techs you will need, and how much resources they will cost. (My second attempt I went bunkhouses early, with little success). This is because a generator upgrade affects almost everything, while insulation only affects the given building.

(For example at -50C this is a -3 temperature level, and I would need a certain combination of insulation and heating to solve it) Looking at this I quickly realized that the most efficient path is to rush up the 'heating' path asap (Generator Levels). What I did was make a spreadsheet of all the techs, as well as each temperature drop to see what would be required. You should be very deliberate with your tech choices to limit waste of time and resources. To do this you need research and more research. General: The biggest thing is getting yourself set up for the first two storms, after that I felt I was on autopilot and cruised the rest of the way. My first attempt ended in failure as I learned the mechanics of the mode, as did my second (Even though I survived the first two storms I was progressing extremely slowly and seemed like I was circling the drain). Note that I did this on the Crater map, but I think most of the tips would carry over. This won't be a step by step guide but more of an overview of how I did it and general tips.

So it seems people are looking for tips/guides on how to succeed in Extreme Endless mode (I know I was before I got it a couple weeks ago).
